Tobacco is a green,leafy plant that is grown in warm climates.After it is picked,it is dried,ground up,and used in different ways.It can be smoked in a cigarette,pipe,or cigar.It can be chewed(called smokeless tobacco or chewing tobacco)or sniffed through the nose(called snuff).Tobacco is an agicultural product processed from the leaves of the plants in the genus nicotiana.It can be consumed,used as an oganic pesticide and on the form of nicotine tart rate it is used in some medicine.

Tobacco has a long history in the americans.In 1612 the settlers of first American colony in Jamestown,Virginia grew tobacco as a cash drop.It was their main course of money.By the 1800's,many people had begun using tobacco.Some chewed it.The first commercial cigarettes were made in 1865 by Washington Duke on his 300-acre fom in Raleigh,North Carolina.The American Company was the largest and most powerful tobacco company until the earlier 1900's.In 1902 Philip Morris Company came out with it's marlboro brand.

The Catholic Church and government is againts using cigarettes,because it it's dangerous to our health and in our country.Most of the cigarettes users are minors like us.(ages 15-below)

The effect of this is very bad to us.The community is greatly affect because of polution it brings,we inhaled oxygen that is already poluted.Eventhough,your not smoking,posibility of getting any lung problem and viruses is very high due to the polution we inhaled.

To prevent this addiction,always think that it is dangerous to our community and think of our family because they are very affect of what you are doing.
